Window Shopping For A Friday

It was a little rainy today and I’ve got the sniffles so I thought we could go window shopping together… Let’s go to Jack and Lulu. Every page is a pop of color and pulpy happiness. I must confess to a serious pulp fascination. For one of my ‘dream jobs’, I would own a stationery shoppe ~ with two ‘p’s!

I know exactly where I would hang this monogrammed piece in my girlie lavendar office.
I think it would go quite nicely, don’t you?
Framed, $50

Here they are again! Red and white paper straws!
Are we seeing a trend here?
Standing straight up in a big, chocolate malt. Yum!
I guess I’m not feeling that badly afterall. 🙂

If certain nieces, who shall remain nameless, should be proposed to soon, wouldn’t this recipe box be a cute addition to their hope chest?

Do girls have hope chests anymore??

I just love stripes and polka dots.
Always have.

Is there anything more cheery?

Is it too soon to think about summer?

I have a lot of baking to plan for this weekend and a full week ahead.

This is what’s on the docket:

Champagne Glass Cookies order for 20 for a birthday party,
Collegiate Valentine cupcake care packages to put together,
Valentine’s to address,
A reception with Susan Hockfield, President of MIT, in Beverly Hills,
and my brother’s birthday dinner on Valentine’s Day.

I am putting together an album of all our photos from our childhood and making him chocolate chip cookies my mom always made.
We have 2 Valentine’s birthdays in our family and son2’s due date was also the 14th but he decided to sleep in for 10 more days. That should have been my clue to his reluctance to get up and go in the mornings. 🙂

Have a fun weekend. Keep safe, dry and warm!
xoxo
