I’ll be going into a lot of detail of what has worked well for me.
If this interests you we can explore themed cookies ~
colorful fall leaves, fun Halloween cookies packaged in a witch’s cauldron, etc.
Really cute stuff.
Here are some links to past posts of some cookies I have done if you are new to my blog.

I am not an artist by any means and I cannot draw so my designs are very simple and often times I use clip art to help me with design.
It’s a cliche but in this case it’s very true ~
“If I can do it, I bet you can too.”
You’ll be amazed!
Should we give it a try?
Oh that would be great!! I’m definitely down for that, I hope you do it! I’ve been wanting to learn cooking decorating for a long time- how to make the right icing, dough, etc.
I love your cookies and would definitely be interested in how you do it!
Yes please!
I can’t wait! I love baking and your cookies look fantastic!
let’s see, that would be a very loud YESSSSS from me!!!!!:-)
FUn cannot wait. I will totally have to feature you on muy blog (As I LOVE to bake myself)
WOW, you have been a very busy bee!! I love all of your posts that I missed. The wedding looked wonderful, such pretty people. Oh, and your cookies—-I don’t care what you say, you are truly an artist. You should have your own bakery, and I could help you make pies! Very nice work!
How Stella is losing her groove got me teary-eyed. I know the feeling. They will come back, always. Don’t be sad, and DO NOT give the Halloween decorations away! After some time, I think you will enjoy having some time for yourself.
Looking forward to the cookie class! Have a wonderful weekend!
XOXO
Yay! I have been waiting with bated breath for this class! π
Here are a few of the questions I have about cookie making:
What flavor of cookie works best? Just plain sugar?
How do you keep the icing from running down the sides of the cookie?
How thick is the cookie dough when you cut it? I like the idea of a thicker cookie, and yours look like they are on the thicker side.
How big do the cookies need to be to keep their shape? Since I like a thick cookie, my fear is that they will spread too much when baked and they’ll lose their pretty shape.
What do you use to make the circles on the wedding cookies?
Where did the cellophane bags come from? And the sizzle packs?
Do you have favorite food coloring brands?
What supplies are “must-haves” when you are baking cookies?
Do you use a regular oven? Convection? Gas? Electric?
Those are all the questions I can think of right now. I am sure more will come to me as the class goes on! I am going to start practicing my ladybug-themed cookies soon. My daughter’s 2nd birthday party is less than a month away, and I think I’m going to need lots of practice!
